Plains After Far Plains Sweep, by Robert de Souza

Plains After Far Plains Sweep

PLAINS after far plains sweep,
The sky is of velvet above;
The soul of the limes which is balm
Leads in a soul semi-sleep
The wafting of hours calm,
Warm, and sated with love.   The sky of velvet above,
The soul of the limes is balm;
Plains after far plains sweep,
The languorous hours are cradling the calm earth to sleep.
