Another Toxic Relationship, by Kris Price

Another Toxic Relationship

Here comes the beast that lays the golden egg,
a night of zombie insomnia,
the clock singing the time.   Here comes a rat with a flute,
a hyena wearing drag,
a bat with a head of moss,
an old fart blowing fumes,
a fish sizzling in the sun.   Here comes a woman
wearing a halo,
a bullet,
a corpse bride.
Here comes a tiny fairy.
Here comes Juliet.
Here come the prostitutes.   All of them line up and form
a straight path,
a very long path.
The longest toxic path
you have ever seen.
