The Fairy Ring, by Elizabeth Keller

The Fairy Ring

The fairies' ring is up in the night sky
Around the moon;
And little moonbeams silently dance by
In silver shoon.
The star lamps glow,
The wind sings low
A lullaby,
A fairy tune.
But all the woodland people sigh
For their lost happy ring, and long to fly
To the white moon.
