Twain was a true artist of his time, and he didn’t gain his success easily. He was born in Hannibal, Missouri and this is where he came up with the setting of both of his books. Twain had several odd jobs growing up to make ends meet. He worked at a printer, then later as typesetter where he wrote for a newspaper. After that he had a job as a riverboat pilot on the Mississippi River he moved to Nevada. He worked hard and that’s what he stood for. He was a man who gained his success because he believed in a dream that he then made a reality.

In today’s times, so many people are fleeing the corporate America setup to become business owners, entrepreneurs. So many people are realizing that investing in companies doesn’t necessarily guarantee their individual success. Twain believed that success was sought after, not handed to anyone. And if you want it, you must start somewhere – just like he started at a newspaper.
